This Quarterly Fund Update (QFU) is a Financial Markets Authority (FMA)-mandated disclosure snapshot for the quarter ended 31 March 2025. It covers 45 KiwiSaver scheme funds managed by smartshares, presenting standardised data on fees, after-tax returns, assets under management, member numbers, and asset allocation. The FMA Disclose register holds the canonical versions of all QFU filings and serves as the primary source for KiwiSaver scheme fund performance and cost information.

As at 31 March 2025, the 45 funds covered held combined assets of $2.38 billion and served 137,518 members. The average annual fee across these funds was 0.60%. Over the one-year period, the average after-tax return was 3.86%, while the average five-year annual return was 8.53%. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future returns.
